She's My Muse - Acrylic on canvas, 30 x 36 Inches
In search of inspiration, I finally found her. She has the strength to face all odds, the confidence to achieve her dreams and goals, and the power to execute them well. I saw in her strong traits that of a tiger symbolizing courage, sternness, and power. She calls upon these traits in her own life. That is how I got the idea to paint my muse.
I have used shades of blue and green on her to show that she is calm yet very fierce with a never say die attitude. She has the look of being intense, just like the tiger. Hot pink is one color packed with energy and cannot go unnoticed. Color-wise, the animal matched its characteristics perfectly. Straight lines in the background represent motionless rest and peace. I have intentionally placed them to show her surroundings do not interfere and obstruct. She has also had a checkered life meaning she had a past with both good and bad periods, but she wears it so confidently only to Rock ‘N Roll.
